New Jobs & Corporate Growth in Fayetteville
The City of Fayetteville recently celebrated a major economic win with the official opening of a state-of-the-art, 205,000-square-foot commercial facility that is now home to two national industry leaders. This new development welcomes Graybar, a Fortune 500 company specializing in supply chain logistics, and A1 American, which is establishing its new East Coast headquarters right here in Fayetteville. Trilith Institute's January Adult Courses: Directing, Acting, and VFX
The Trilith Institute is starting the new year with a selection of professional adult courses focused on various aspects of film and television production, all beginning in January. CIVIL NEWS
While some government bodies have concluded their business for the year, a few key municipal meetings are still on the calendar this week. Monday, December 15th, will be busy, starting with the Brooks Town Council Meeting at 6:30 PM, which includes a Public Hearing and request for adoption of the FY2025 Amended Budget, and also addresses a resolution on the Micromobility Traffic Safety Act. Simultaneously, Peachtree City will hold a Special Called Planning Commission and UDO Meeting at 6:30 PM to discuss the Unified Development Ordinance.
Later in the week, Thursday, December 18th, features two regular council meetings. The Fayetteville City Council will meet at 6:00 PM, and the Tyrone Town Council meets at 7:00 PM. Tyrone's agenda is notably packed with reappointments for judicial and legal roles, consideration of a 5% sewer rate increase for 2026, and discussion of revisions to the Film Permit ordinance.
